We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Manager to join our team in London. We are scaling fast, with ambitious growth plans, and you'll play a critical role in nPlan's success by growing our team!

As part of our small and very friendly Ops team, you can expect to be working in a fast-paced environment. Initiative, an agile mindset and strong organisation skills are very important, but we also highly value having fun and building strong relationships! You'll be joining our current TA Manager, Jack, who can help you get up to speed quickly. As our team grows, it will open up career growth opportunities for you, and we'll support you in that journey.

If you have experience in E2E recruitment for all levels of hires from junior to senior, are comfortable using and analysing data to make and inform decisions, and are excited by the prospect of joining a fast-paced, fast-growing team, we'd love to hear from you.

The types of roles you might be focusing on range from Machine Learning Research Scientists to Account Directors, and there's space for you to decide whether to focus on technical, commercial or generalist recruitment.

About nPlan:

Our purpose is to inspire the world to forecast correctly and empower it to tackle risk, powered by our deep learning technology and its unique ability to forecast the outcomes of construction projects. We’re on a mission to change how construction projects are planned, managed and executed, and in the process unlock a trillion dollars of new project value for the world through our data-driven forecasting.

We’re lucky to work on some of the largest infrastructure projects in the world, which gives us both an opportunity and a privilege to make a significant impact on the world around us, and what it will look like in the future, every day.

You’ll be joining a world class and well funded team, backed by top investors including GV (formerly known as Google Ventures) that all believe in the future we are creating. We’ve been on a tremendous growth trajectory for the last three years, and following our latest investment round we’ve got very ambitious growth plans for 2022 and beyond.

The role:

  • You'll proactively source for candidates for our specialist and senior positions - whether that's an expert on risk in the construction industry, a software engineer from a start-up background, or top sales consultants in the field. You'll be driving top-of-funnel activity: sourcing, screening and evaluating potential candidates.
  • Outreach will be a large component of this role - you're comfortable picking up the phone to call people, and you're able to help candidates understand why nPlan is the right fit for them.
  • You will help to manage and develop the recruitment processes that’ll enable us to grow our team by at least 50% in 2022, by attracting the best talent and then assessing them quickly and fairly.
  • It's important that you take the time to develop good relationships with Hiring Managers: you'll support and advise them, and identify strategic changes to attract the right candidates.
  • You'll ensure we continue to attract and recruit the best talent no matter their background, by working to find new ways to attract diverse talent and assess candidates without bias.
  • You'll monitor our recruitment pipeline in our ATS, to ensure we’re moving fast and delivering our promise to give candidates a great experience.
  • You'll be passionate about tracking - and working to reduce - our time to hire and time to fill. You'll be tracking and monitoring other metrics such as offer:acceptance ratio, and highlighting areas for focus or improvement.
  • You'll work to develop our employer brand, while identifying and building out new channels for us to attract the best talent.

We need you to have:

  • Experience running successful recruitment pipelines from start to finish - with a focus on candidate experience, fair assessment and minimising time-to-hire.
  • Experience in proactively sourcing candidates for hard-to-fill roles, without relying on external recruiters.
  • Experience in hiring for a variety of roles from junior to expert level .
  • Ideally, you'll have good connections and networks, which you can leverage to find the best talent.
  • Excellent time management - you’re confident you can manage the day-to-day recruitment process across a large number of roles, while at the same time working on new roles and more strategic improvements.
  • Passion for delivering a great candidate experience - this is really important to us at nPlan and what we believe sets our employer brand apart.
  • A sense of creativity to try new ideas and methods to enhance our candidate experience and employer brand.

We’d like you to have (nice-to-haves):

  • Experience in successfully scaling the recruitment process in a high-growth startup environment.
  • Experience of working with an ATS (e.g. Breezy, Workable).
  • Attention to detail is important - please mention the word ‘crane’ in your application.

The typical nPlanauts are:

  • Generally curious about the world.
  • Serious, without taking themselves too seriously.
  • Able to define their own work independently.
  • Proactive about improving the world around them.
  • Open-minded about new technical ideas.
  • Willing to change their mind on the basis of the evidence

What working at nPlan will be like:

  • We are still a small team so there is plenty of opportunity for a high degree of ownership over different areas of the product, and you will be directly exposed to all areas of the business.
  • Your voice will always be heard. What you do or say counts, not who you are or where you're from.
  • We have three core values that underlie everything we do: Learn from Everything, Be Radically Truthful, and Aim High, Run Fast. These enable us to create a collaborative, inclusive environment where we can move effectively and efficiently to implement the best solutions.
  • We are a cross-disciplinary team, and come from all backgrounds and countries.
  • Fantastic benefits package for Health & Wellbeing, Learning & Development, family leave, weekly team lunches and more.
  • We are committed to addressing the diversity problem in the tech industry, and that starts with making sure we have a diverse team where everyone feels at home and can contribute as an equal.
  • Having time to yourself and a private life is important. We offer a very flexible work environment and a generous holiday policy.
